Monster Percussion is a trademarked independent brand not owned by any big conglomerate. MP was the inspiration of a rock drummer with over 25 years of professional experience playing both live and recording in studios. He and his better half operate the shop in Los Angeles California.  Superior Snare Straps, Drummer’s Finger Tape and Drumstakes are just the beginning of product offerings to come. Over the years he had the opportunity and time to experiment with every piece of equipment or accessory a drummer would ever need for playing in your garage, club or stage to hauling entire kits nationwide and overseas.

Just because something cost more and lots of people own it doesn’t mean it’s always the best choice for you. The music equipment industry are masters at marketing their gear, so sometimes it’s hard to tell if a product is worth it.  Our goal is to carry practical affordable products for anyone who wants to improve their sound and make them a better drummer all around.
